General Manager

Jason Effing is the General Manager at Blue Arc Engineering and has over thirteen years of experience in the Material Handling industry.  As General Manager, Jason is responsible for the overall success of Blue Arc.  He ultimately is over the Engineering department, Production, Sales and the Office.  Jason enjoys the hands on part of his position which allows him to get involved with the sale and then follow the project through engineering, fabrication, final assembly and testing.

Jason started Blue Arc Engineering with Gene Oskay, our Engineering Manager.  Prior to starting Blue Arc Jason had various engineering roles related to the material handling industry.  Previous roles included systems design engineer, project manager, consulting design engineer and field sales engineer.  This varied background has been a strong foundation to lead Blue Arc.

Jason and his wife Amy live east of Greenfield, IN with their three children Audrey, Lainey and Joel.  They reside on a small farm where they raise angus beef cattle that they sell as freezer beef to family and friends.  This occupies a lot of Jason’s “spare time” – with fixing fences, cleaning out the barn, baling hay and the like.  In addition to the part-time farm Jason is an active member of Nameless Creek Christian Church, where he serves as elder and on several committees.
