Britt grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia, one of the many suburbs of Washington D.C. A Virginian at heart, he went to school at Virginia Tech and majored in Mechanical Engineering were he participated in Formula SAE and undergraduate research at the Center of Injury Biomechanics. Prior to BMH, Britt worked as a Design Release Engineer at General Motors in Ypsilanti, Michigan and later in Indianapolis. After meeting his girlfriend in Ann Arbor, he followed her back to her hometown of Indianapolis and has been here ever since.

In his spare time Britt enjoys reading, painting, Hokie football and mountain biking. Although he isn’t very talented at sports in general, he still tries to stay active by playing basketball, golfing and hiking.
