Matt works at Blue Arc as an applications/sales engineer. His main duty is to work with customers to provide solutions to their material handling needs. Matt enjoys working with the Blue Arc team to come up with unique, robust designs and watching them come to life in the shop. For him, the best part of working at Blue Arc is the knowledge he gains every day from his coworkers.

Matt graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. At Purdue, Matt was a member of the SAE Baja team and gained experience designing and building off-road cars for competition. In College, Matt worked building custom furniture and other wood pieces. Like at Blue Arc, he enjoyed putting people’s ideas into a unique piece that was made just for them.

In his free time, Matt enjoys working on his new (to him) house and building furniture to fill it. Matt also likes to stay active and play a variety of sports including football, basketball, golf, and waterskiing. The rest of his time is spent relaxing with his future wife, friends, and family.
