Blue Arc Engineering has had the privilege of partnering with some top aerospace companies in the development of new material handling technologies for their production plants. Due the nature of their industry there are many specific criteria that Blue Arc has implemented into our designs.
Automated Die Processing Line
Blue Arc was recently contracted to assist a large aerospace company in creating an automated die processing line. The purpose of the project was to increase throughput of the die cleaning/coating process while maintaining ergonomic and safety standards.
Ergonomic Jet Engine Assembly Stand
The primary driver behind this project was improving ergonomic working conditions. The stand lifts and rotates a large jet engine fan case, enabling workers to easily mount and assemble components without extra walking or bending.
Lean Manufacturing Assembly Carts
A major Aerospace manufacturer contacted Blue Arc to provide a solution for a new lean manufacturing assembly cell. The application was to assemble jet engines on a portable engine stand that would improve operator ergonomics while also supporting the lean manufacturing initiatives of the project.
Extreme Environment Material Handling Equipment
Blue Arc can accommodate any extreme environment challenges that your material handling problem may pose. We have experience with ultra high temperature, vacuum, corrosive, wet, and dirty environments where most equipment can’t stand up.
