Appliance Manufacturing

BlueArc has developed and implemented several custom material handling equipment specifically for the appliance manufacturing industry. Our engineering team have worked on projects handling everything from dishwasher assembly, refrigerators, stoves, and clothes washers and driers. Our innovative designs always take into account our customers’ requirements, such as specified components we utilize in the manufacturing of our designs. Following are a few highlighted projects that were executed for our appliance customers.

Part Buffer Carousel

Part Buffer Carousel
The requirement for this project was to provide a two level buffer system for parts during an assembly process.

Sheet Metal Housing Inverter

Sheet Metal Housing Inverter
The assembly process for an assembly line required inverting the sheet metal skin of a washing machine pedestal.

Dual Strand Non-Marring Sheet Metal Housing Conveyor

Dual Strand Non-Marring Sheet Metal Housing Conveyor
This conveyor was again handling pedestals for washing machines. The parts were painted at this point, so it was paramount that we not damage the finish.

Portable Dishwasher Laydown Transfer Device

Portable Dishwasher Laydown Transfer Device
This machine would transfer a dishwasher during the assembly process from one assembly line conveyor to a fixture slat conveyor.

Fixture Assembly Line Slat Conveyor

At BlueArc, we have the engineering expertise to design and build a custom fixture conveyor for your assembly line.

Sheet Metal Oven Top Buffer Conveyor

Sheet Metal Oven Top Buffer Conveyor
This conveyor provided a buffer prior to a value added process for our customer. The low friction characteristics of the belt allows us to accumulate parts by utilizing linear stops.

Iron Cross Part Rotator

Iron Cross Part Rotator
Our customer needed their sheet metal part to rotate orientation 90 degrees for downstream value added processes. Our iron cross rotator would lift the part off the rollers, rotate, then lower the part back onto the rollers.
