Appliance Manufacturing - Dual Strand Non-Marring Sheet Metal Housing Conveyor

This conveyor was again handling pedestals for washing machines. The parts were painted at this point, so it was paramount that we not damage the finish. Since this was an assembly conveyor, independent discrete zones were required to be able to control the flow of the parts. Our solution was to utilize dual strand polyurethane conveyor belts. Each zone had its own motor to allow for control of the flow. The customer also requested a solid surface top, to keep parts from falling down inside the conveyor. There are operators working up close to this conveyor, so the designs minimized obstructions along the sides of the conveyor.
