Cigarette Switch
Common in the distribution of cigarettes is the need to stamp each pack of cigarettes with the appropriate state tax code based on its destination. This operation of stamping is done after the particular order is picked in the order fulfillment system.
High Speed Small Item Sorter
A high speed solution was required to sort cigarettes by order once they left the pick line. In typical fashion, the BlueArc team came up with a simple yet very effective solution. Rotary paddles would gently guide the cartons off the plastic belt conveyor onto a chute.
Lean Manufacturing Assembly Carts
A major Aerospace manufacturer contacted BlueArc to provide a solution for a new lean manufacturing assembly cell. The application was to assemble jet engines on a portable engine stand that would improve operator ergonomics while also supporting the lean manufacturing initiatives of the project.
Automated Iso Thermal Forging Handlers
A first of its kind automated material handling system was developed for a leading aerospace manufacturer. There are many iso thermal forging processes around the world, but due to the extreme temperatures and environments none had been developed for automating the die changeout.
