Pivoting Blade Stops

Pivoting blades stops have the ability to raise above the conveyor surface to stop product, but then pivot downward below the conveyor surface when not in use. They can be used for cases and cartons, but typically are used in heavy duty pallet handling due to their rugged design. Pivoting blade stops can be used with gravity flow conveyors as well as minimum pressure accumulation conveyor. Generally pivoting blade stops are actuated with an airbag, although they are available cylinder actuated.

Pivoting Blade Stop Applications

Pivoting blade stops can be used at the end of gravity conveyor line that loads a shuttle car. These stops keep product from falling off end when shuttle car is not in place.
Pivoting blade stops are used in combination with roller brake to singulate product on gravity or minimum pressure accumulation conveyor.
Pivoting blade stops provide a repeatable accurate position to stop product prior to right angle transfer.
Pivoting blade stops hold product in position for operator while work is being performed, allow operator to release product once completed.

Actuation is typically by a pneumatic airbag. Lighter duty models are spring loaded down, airbag actuation up.
Also available with a manual foot pedal actuation.
Includes solenoid valve with stop with flow control.
Bolts to bottom flange of conveyor frame. Ability to adapt design to any conveyor manufacturer frame.
