Conveyor Belt Transfers

Conveyor Belt Transfers are typically used to convey a product perpendicular to flow in a roller conveyor. Some key advantages of a Conveyor Belt Transfer are no lubrication required, surface will not mar product, and belt replacement is simple. Conveyor Belt Transfers can be manufactured in a variety on configurations. These transfers can be used in situations requiring very low top of roller heights.

Conveyor Belt Transfer Applications

Conveyor Belt Transfers are used in pallet handling systems as a 90 degree divert to change the product flow. Belt transfers are also often used in applications where chain transfers will not fit. Belt Transfers can handle delicate products that can be easily scratched or marred.

Types of Conveyor Belt Transfers

Flat Belt Transfers
Flat Belt Transfers typically use 1/8" x 1" urethane belting. These Belt Transfers are driven by a power drum pulley.

O-Ring Belt Transfers
O-Ring Belt Transfers are used in transfer applications requiring a small width allowingthe transfer to pop-up between tight roller centers.

V-Belt Transfers
V-Belt Transfers are also used in applications requiring tight roller centers.

Belt Transfer Benefits

  • Low profile design, as low as 8” top of roller elevation
  • Much quieter than chain driven transfers
  • Drum pulley drive eliminates the necessary shafting and bearings that would be required when using traditional motor/gearbox
  • Urethane belting is non-marring

Conveyor Belt Transfer Specifications

  • Utilizes medium duty sheet metal weldment
  • Urethane belting comes in a variety of durometers and profiles
  • PowerePowered drum pulley, 460/3/60, other capacities and configurations are available
