Watch Video! The vertical switch from Blue Arc Engineering allows for product conveyance from one infeed conveyor to one of two discharge conveyors. Typical applications are in high speed automated palletizing systems in which a single packaging system can feed multiple palletizers. These types of systems are common in food and beverage applications. The innovative design allows for smooth high speed actuation between conveyor lines – up to 180 feet per minute travel speed! |

The System 500 pallet handling equipment is used with hard to handle loads such as pallets and containers that weigh up to 4,400 lbs. The proven designs have stood the test of time as shown with the several Series 500 conveyors that have been in continuous service for more than 25 years. The Series 500 family of conveyors includes accumulating roller conveyor, chain drive roller conveyor, drag chain conveyor, various conveyor transfers and transfer cars. The accumulation roller conveyor, System 525, has a unique drivetrain design that greatly simplifies the control system required. It utilizes reliable yet simple mechanical accumulation clutches that allow for a stretch of conveyor up to 80’ - (16) 5’ long zones - on a single drive. Compared to other accumulation roller conveyors, this is a reduction of 15 motors and photoeyes as well as the electrical systems to control these additional items. As you can imagine, we are seeing significant upfront cost benefits as well as reduced total cost of ownership due to reduced maintenance requirements.
