Blue Arc was recently contracted to assist a large aerospace company by implementing an automated die cleaning and coating processing line. This system utilized a six axis robot to ensure a uniform thickness of coating as well as maximized handling efficiency thus significantly increasing the throughput of the process.

The overall quality of the process also significantly increased by consolidating several manual processes into one turnkey automated solution that included a custom conveyor line, die heater, die tilter, and spray booth.

One of the most recent applications of our ZiPline family of products was at the Indianapolis Roche Diagnostics distribution facility. The project required accumulation from cold and ambient stations, to multiple pack out stations with product verification and tracking along the way.

ZiPline was an excellent fit for this application with its extremely quiet 58 db operation, streamlined design, wide variety of zone lengths, and ability to convey products as small as 3” wide by 4” long.

On Thursday, March 17th we celebrated our 8th anniversary at Blue Arc! We would like to thank our customers for helping us grow over the past eight years and specifically in 2010.

The first part of 2010 started a little slow but picked up tremendously in the third quarter. This has allowed us to enter 2011 with a record backlog and continued growth, all thanks to the wonderful partnerships we have with each of our customers.
