Jet Engine Assembly Stand Improves Ergonomics

The primary driver behind this project was improving ergonomic working conditions. The stand lifts and rotates a large jet engine fan case, enabling workers to easily mount and assemble components without extra walking or bending. |

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana was looking to expand its BackSacks program from 3,000 to 10,000 BackSacks per week, enabling them to feed more Central Indiana children. To accomplish this feat, Gleaners turned to Blue Arc to design and fabricate a custom assembly line that would automate the slow, manual process of bagging food. |

To speed up product assembly time and improve ergonomics, a furnace manufacturer needed a custom machine that could dispense 18" steel heat actuator tubes to eight separate workstations. |
