Fabrication ServicesBlue Arc Engineering’s modern manufacturing facility utilizes 50,000 square feet designed for lean manufacturing. At Blue Arc, we incorporate state of the art manufacturing techniques to ensure we provide robust and high quality equipment to our customers. Each assembly of manufactured equipment is carefully constructed using our proven manufacturing process flow while strictly adhering to our quality control standards at each step.
Blue Arc Engineering places a fundamental emphasis on maintaining quality for each step of the manufacturing process. We utilize extensive metrics to measure ourselves against strict baseline criteria. As part of our continuous improvement process, we incrementally increase our baseline quality requirements over time to constantly improve quality. Our goal to our customer is to provide a robust custom material handling solution that will last in excess of 10 years.
Blue Arc Engineering offers flexible Fabrication services including:
Laser Cutting
With the use of a Trumpf TruLaser 1030, we have the in-house capabilities to cut any shape or contour in a variety of metal and sheet thicknesses. The laser control software is integrated into Solidworks (dxf) and Autocad (dwg or dxf) with the ability to transfer files using our internal network. Our laser is crucial to reducing delivery times, increasing quality, and decreasing overall costs to our customers.
Capable of cutting sizes up to:
Our facility is fully equipped with a variety of industrial-grade metal fabrication machines. This includes a press brake, metal shear, and iron worker, as well as various mills, lathes, and drill presses. All of these tooling machines are capable of fabricating a variety of metals, including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Cincinnati Press Brake - Our press brake allows us to form sheet metal into various standalone parts or as pieces of a larger machine and/or automation system.
It has the capacity to bend:
Cincinnati Metal Sheer - Shearing is the process for cutting sheet metal to size out of a larger stock using a shearing process.
Cuts up to:
Iron Worker – This piece of machinery allows us to do a variety of punching and notching in much higher volumes.
Marvel Automatic Saw
Vertical Mills and Lathe – These tools give us the ability to drill and tap holes in all our fabricated parts as well as machine precision parts for our R&D projects.
Our welding capabilities include mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel and various other alloys. We have very skilled welders capable of producing large weldments with great accuracy and very complex smaller weldments.

PaintingBlue Arc takes great pride in our quality painting process. We specialize in enamel painting using our cross draft style paint booth. The majority of our machines are painted in-house using our customer’s color of choice.
The final and arguably most important process of manufacturing is assembly and final testing. Our highly trained and skilled machine builders take special pride in assembling and putting the final touches on our equipment to ensure it meets our customer’s needs. Each machine is thoroughly tested and demonstrated to our customers before it leaves our building.
