Preventative Maintenance

At Blue Arc, we realize your conveyor system is the lifeblood of your business and you want to do everything in your power to minimize downtime. Our factory trained technicians can inspect each conveyor and solve the minor maintenance issues before they become expensive, unplanned outages. A solid planned preventative maintenance program is a good remedy to keep Murphy at bay – keep you from shutting down during the times you need your system the most. Below is a list of what is included when you partner with Blue Arc Engineering.

Interview operators for any known problems
Inspect all hardware for functionality
Inspect and lubricate chains and bearings
Clean debris from moving parts
Inspect all safety guarding
Adjust and tighten necessary parts
Change lubrication in gear reducers
Check gear reducers for noise. Inspect for leaks and check that breather is clean
Check belts for tracking and inspect for excessive wear or damage and inspect lacing
General – check guard rails and safety guarding as appropriate
Inspect electrical connections and troubleshoot if necessary
Inspect all electrical connections and repair if necessary
Verify controls and software operability
Provide a written service report and recommendations
